Optimisme juga dipengaruhi oleh pernyataan seorang anggota parlemen AS dari Partai Republik bahwa RUU Reformasi Pajak sudah mendekati kesepakatan. Indeks Nikkei 225 dan Kospi dibuka lebih rendah pagi ini, sementara All Ordinaries lebih tinggi. IHSG masih cenderung bergerak sideways di sekitar support MA20 nya, yang menandakan belum adanya tren yang kuat untuk naik atau turun. Support 5970, resistance 6090.
